A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. The Republican gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his business for a job. He then took twenty dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person. The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless person, he decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republican's pocket and gave the homeless person fifty dollars. 공화당원과 민주당원이 길을 걷다가 노숙자를 만났다. 공화당원이 노숙자에게 명함을 주면서 일자리를 구하려면 자기 사무실로 오라고 말했다. 그리고 호주머니에서 20달러를 꺼내 그 노숙자에게 줬다. 민주당원은 아주 감명을 받고는 또 다른 노숙자를 발견하자 도와주고 싶어졌다. 그는 그 노숙자에게 복지회관에 관한 설명을 해 주고는 공화당원의 호주머니에서 50달러를 꺼내더니 그에게 줬다.
